The water sampler is made of a telescopic rod with a maximum length of 4m50 and a holder, for a beaker (included) or a sampling bottle.
To facilitate the sampling, the holder’s angle is easily adjustable with a butterfly screw.
The water sampler kit includes:
A telescopic rod with a maximum length of 4m50
A beaker holder with a variable angle set by a butterfly screw
A removable 1L capacity beaker.

In a watercourse :
The sampling rod allowssampling on a watercourse, from the bank or a bridge.Care should be taken to avoid edge effects and to position the beaker in the main stream of the watercourse, facing the current (countercurrent).
Immerse quickly the beaker (or bottle) below the surface of the stream (about 30 cm) and quickly raise the rod.
Rinse the bottle or sordese 3 times by throwing the rinse water downstream from the collection point before filling the vials for analysis.
It is noted that the vials provided by the test provider limit the risk of contamination.
In a pond / lagoon:
The sampling rod is alsosuitable for sampling in retention ponds or lagoons.
Sampling will be carried out from the bank or, preferably, from a bridge / walkway overlooking the pond.
Immerse the beaker (or bottle) in the pond by positioning its neck downwards. Position the beaker / bottle 30 cm below the surface and quickly pull it out while turning it upside down.
Rinse the bottle/beaker 3 times by throwing the rinse water outside the basin before filling the vials for analysis.
It is noted that the vials provided by the test provider limit the risk of contamination.
